Diary Page for my Butterfly Journal

Morning everyone, just a quick post this morning as I'm sharing a diary page for my little journal I created, and it's free for you to download.

It's based on the design you can download for free by Jane Davenport, go to her site sign up for her free Mixed Media class, and then you have access.
I asked Jane if it was okay to create my own and share it with you all, and like the generous person she is, she said " yes of course and let me see in case I can use them too.' How cool is that.

How to download
Save the picture to your device, open a word document, insert the photo resizing to 8"x8"or 20cmx20cm  if you have a double sided printer add another image onto a another  page then print out onto paper, card whichever you prefer, cut away waste paper, and there you have it two weeks of diary.

Below you can see how I set up my week ready to to go!

You can see I've added a couple of stickers from Jane's collection which you can see on her website, I've also added a couple of notes and some stamping. Roses are from Blossoming Rose designed by me for Rubber Dance, you can see about the release and give away here.

Of course there's room for doodling too
Take care

Beautiful You and Stamps giveaway!

Hello everyone! Thank you for popping in, especially as today I'm announcing a give away to my followers, of all 4 sets of stamps. More of that later, for now, I have my 'Beautiful You' stamp designed for Rubber Dance on the blog, to which I think I'm a bit addicted. I've added some Infusions and used Chameleon Tone pens for face and hair.

You can all read about Rubber Dance here.

So this is what I did

I stamped the girl and added some more flowers, which I coloured in using the pens. This was the first time I've used them, and found them quite easy.  There are lots of videos on YouTube of how to you them so I won't go into it here.

I apologise about the lighting!

Above you can see where I added a tiny amount  of Infusions which I activated with a sparkle spray. Only use a tiny amount or you will swamp the image! I also added some more flowers.

Below I've used my trusty white Gell Pen, which writes on most things. Gets a bit sticky over wax, but can be achieved as the nib creates the dent into the wax and after being cleaned will write in the groove.

Lastly added my sentiment!

Products
Stamps: Rubber Dance Beautiful You
Sparkle Spray That's Crafty
Infusions: Paper Artsy
Pens: Chameleon Tones
White Pen: Signo Gell Pen

Here are my other sets:

You can order these stamps direct from Rubber Dance, or From July you will be able to order them from Country View Crafts

So for the give away, please make sure you are a follower and leave a comment choosing your fave set. You have two weeks to choose, and the winners will be picked by random.org on the 8th July. This will also be on Facebook so if you would like to comment on there too, you get an extra entry 😊.

Take care my Dears

Love heart

Hello everyone I'm over at Country View Crafts today with my 2nd piece for this month, which is a decorated heart.

I started by glueing down my elements with heavy Matt Medium and left overnight to dry. The following day
I painted it all with white Acrylic.

I loved how the white chunky embossing powder added a random texture throughout. You can also see
some layers of spray ink which I sprayed and then dab off with a clean towel. I did this several times building up
The colour.

I loved the pastel colours but I wanted it to go in my bathroom and act as a contrast to the other colours

So added the blue and a touch of brown to add a vintage feel

Last look at the whole thing

Thanks so much for popping by
Take care

A pair of Tags

Hello everyone, thank you for joining me today, as I'm sharing a couple of Tags I created this morning. Over last few months I have struggled with creating anything, through lack of inspiration, motivation etc. I'm sure many of have experienced this from time to time, so know how I feel, and how frustrating it is too.  I had more time, and  space to create and yet found  that I had less interest! Equally I had a burning need to create lol. So it's was all a bit hit and miss. Hopefully my muse is back from her vacation and creativity will continue.

I have also been working hard behind the scenes with secret stuff which I cannot tell you about yet, but watch this space!

Now onto my Tags

Both backgrounds were created the same way, lots of Distress Oxides my favourite products at the moment, some mica powders for some shimmer, old script, and circles. On top of which I painted a coat of crazing medium which gave a tiny crackle. The stamps are from Rubber Dance, designed by the fabulous Katy Leitch, stamped onto smoothly card and tinted with water colour.

Here are the steps for each Tag and some close ups

On this tag below I added some washy tape

Last look at them together

I hope you like them and enjoyed the seeing the different steps, your feedback is always appreciated!

Take care and stay creative
