Just a reminder

Hello everyone, today I’m sharing a reminder of this months challenge over at Rubber Dance. Below is the theme, I love these little moodboards as I find them so inspirational.

Here is my creation

And here’s how I created it

Using an 8x8 kraft journal I covered the page in acrylic paint.

I then added more colours to create my background using Dina Wakley paints straight from the bottle.

I then stamped the flowers from Fav Flower 3 times. I heat dried this and then with Nuvo watercolour pens painted the flowers and once dry outlined them in white.

My sentiment is from Adore Me

All stamps are available from Rubber Dance

And don’t forget there is free shipping over €15 with this code DWFreeShip

Hope you are inspired to play along with us, you could win €12 voucher to spend in the shop

Good luck!

Take care

Another post card for Country View Crafts

Hello everyone, and Happy Mothers Day to all you mums out there. I’m a bit late with this post today, which I blame on my recent move. Doing it yourself moves sure do take it out of you, and I’m am extremely tired. However, we are in and the house is mostly sorted. I have some tidying to do in the studio but I’m nearly there. I’ve also been able to sort it out to allow videoing of my projects as this year I want to get my act together with better tutorials etc.

Anyway onto my card for today!

Here how it was created.

I created my background with those fabulous Distress Oxides, I do love these and cannot wait to get my hands on the new colours

Once they were dry I added some white ink, then in black I used Vintage Script from Rubber Dance.

Next I added some stencils from my collection sold at ArtZone which I painted with watercolours Gansai Tambi by Kuretake

Lastly I added a whiteboard leaf again from my collection as well as some stars.

The sentiment is a handwritten one as I don’t have a stamp with that saying.

There is still time to enter this months challenge, so why not give it a go.

Take care

New Challenge for Country View Crafts

Hello everyone, well the snow has settled in well here in Westmorland, with several flurrys today and more predicted tomorrow. Stay safe where you are, and take care.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Country View Crafts and the theme chosen for us by our lovely Sue, is Anything Postcard size. As always you could win £20 to spend in store.

I was thrilled to make something for this, which was a while back now, as I was crafting in advance due to the move, and  I was on a roll. I had a few days leave over the Christmas holidays and the art was flowing lol. Anyway here is my card!

Here what I did

Lots of Distress Oxide spritz with water

Lots of that fabulous Gold from Gansai Tambi by Kuretake

I got so engrossed I forgot to take more pictures but I’ll walk you through

Background stencil and Archival Ink,  Tim Holtz Paper Dolls Paperie, the wings are leaves from MMM ArtZone stamped with Vintage Script from Rubber Dance, and I cannot remember where the sentiment came from.

I hope you can join us

That’s all for now
