Early morning Art

Good morning everyone today I woke up with the birds, lol must have been all that sleep yesterday. I hope you are enjoying your Sunday and have lots of crafty plans.

Today's post is inspired by Pam Thorburn she was guest designer over on the Paper Artsy blog at the beginning of the week and gave us three really lovely projects, which you can see here. Now I'm not a scrapper and to be honest it hasn't really interested me until I saw some of Pam's creations which you can see here

Well how this post came about, was that last night I was sorting through some photos and came across this photo of my granddaughter and the ideas started spinning. My daughter took the photo; she is a budding artist of the photography world and you can see some of her work here.

So here I go. First as I decided to alter some christmas washi tape that I had. I laid out some strips and painted them with fresco acrylic paint the colours are vintage lace, sky, Baltic blue and then a purple I made with the bue and pink.

I then found some card added my paint and a sprinkling of purple brusho with lots of water.

I added some washi tape, and some ribbon. I also added some stamping using stamps from JOFY 14 and the butterfly is from hot pick 1203. I added some lace to the picture and stuck her in place. I also added some sparkle around the photo and onto the page. I then mounted it onto some black card.

It was a bit touch and go as I made this as it nearly went in the bin at one point but glad I kept at it as I think it came out ok.

Thank you for looking and enjoy the rest of your your Sunday .

Big hugs Debs xx
