I first painted them in Remberence Chalk Paint from the Americano Range and once dry gave areas around the boxes a fine scraping of Weathered Wood, and let it dry. I then used Everlasting Chalk Paint and watched the cracks appear.
While that was drying I applied modelling paste through a new stencil onto white tissue paper, before it dried I costed it in milled Lavendar distress embossing powder and heat set it all.
I wet the paper around the words to make it tear easily and using Matt Medium adhered it to the box.
I worked out where the rest went and completed adding on my words.
Wonderful!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are brilliant - I was eyeing some up in the garden centre at the weekend that were nice but no where near as wonderful as these xx
