Birthday card
No photo steps but I'll talk you through how I created this card for my son in law.
To start, I distressed some white card 5x7 with black soot, pumice stone and a touch of aged mahogany, I left the centre almost clear. This was then mounted onto black card then used some stamps from tim holtz City Central stamped in black. I stamped the heart and tag onto red card and tore round the edges. I used washi tape across the top and stuck the red card onto it. The other hearts are tim holzts sizzix dies cut from metal card from Paper Artsy. I embossed this with a cog pattern. I used one heart metal side and the heart and wings I used on the black side with treasure gold to highlight the cogs. I used metal corners to finish off the card. I hope he likes it

He must be special to you to spend so much time on his card. Love the depth and variety of materials used. So much drama....I love it. Must remember to get washi tape out!
ReplyDeleteStunning colour combos, love washi tape & the dies you've used. Your SIL will be made up with his special card:-) x
