Masterboard

Hello everyone, I do hope you are having a good time whether you celebrate this time of year or not. Warm thoughts of health and happiness to you all.

Today I'm sharing a masterboard I created. I love making these, especially on 12x12 card from Paper Artsy, which is where I first saw a masterboard by Jo Firth Young, (JOFY). On this one I haven't added any stamping except a butterfly which I squidgged into the wet paint randomly, if you do this, don't forget to wash your stamp immediately.

I used several Fresco colours, and once dry I sprinkled infusions in Violet Storms over the page, spritzed with water. I applied a gloss glaze to finish. Once dry, I cut the card into different shapes, 3 tags, 2x 3.75x6.75 in for cards and 4 ATCs.

I chose to complete a small tag and card using Rubber Dance stamps owned by the lovely Bibi Lindahl

Loved these birds, and thought they were perfect for making an early Valentines Day card. I stamped the Birds onto the card as well as smoothly card and heat set. I added some hearts to help create theme. I used watercolour pencils to colour the Birds and the branches they were sitting on. I distressed the edges and mounted it onto bronze paper and then onto a black card.

I loved this stamp as soon as I saw it. I loved its quirkyness, but thought I would add a little more by cutting her out and making her dance, well life
Is wonderful, and I love to dance, lol.

I stamped her onto card and heat dried, before cutting off the arms and legs. I added some background stamping before sticking her into place? I added my sentiment and backed with black card.

What I used
The background was all Paper Artsy products

The stamps were from Rubber Dance

Inktense Pencil Dewent

I will finish off the other pieces and share them when I do
Take care
