More Texture

Hello everyone, today I'm bringing you my second piece for the current challenge over at Country View Crafts. There are some fabulous entries already so if you haven't, get out all your bits and pieces get some texture going, to be in with a chance of winning a £20 Voucher to spend in the shop.

This is how I did it.

I built up up my layers of colours using Fresco Acrylic Paints from Paper Artsy brayered on the page. Once that was dry I added some texture with Grunge Paste through a circle stencil. I then lay the Masks of the girls and using a palette knife I applied Fibre Paste from Golden around the edges of the girls were outlined in the paste.

I then added some circles here and there and painted the rest out with Black Gesso.

Using a white Sygno Gel Pen I scribbled round the circles

Using a sentiment with white Ink I stamped randomly

Hope you like this and it has inspired you to have a go. Take care and I'll see you Hugs Debs xx

  2. So, so cool, Debs! What a fabulous effect with the glow of the women against the black and the bubbles carrying that glow away into the world. Great technique with the fibre paste - must explore that.

All is well here, just very busy, so crafting is getting squeezed in around the edges again!!
