I've stuck with the skeleton theme, but this time it's a Shrine with Ghostly Ghouls, and Creatures of the Night, to spook you all. Boo!
So here's what I did!
I assembled a large Niche-Paper Artsy and applied Crackle Paste-DecoArt through a stencil to cover it all. I first painted it purple and once dry, sprayed it with Black Media Spray- DecoArt. Once it was completely dry I also sprayed a few drips of red. Inside I wanted to use the skull stencil from Andy Skinner but as it is an 8x8 I decided to cut it out. I can still stick it together if I want to use it whole. I do this a lot, to make to tools work for me. I do it to stamps too. I used it with crackle paste and once dry I painted it pale green one side to give it a glow.I stamped and cut out the skeletons- Tim Holtz and stuck them in place. I also added some silver angel hair inside as well as in the Draw. I wanted it to reflect the light when I used a candle! However only use a battery candle, as impatient me, who didn't have any, used a real one and nearly set it on fire!
Lastly I drew and cut out a ghoul to sit in the draw
And here it is again with the candle
Hope you are not too spooked!
Take care and I'll see you all soon

Fab spooky niche Debs. Love the eerie 'glow' to the skull.

The green works really well on the skull Deborah! Very macabre and reminds me of the ghost train at the fair! Xx
