The new theme over at That's Crafty this week is 'Wishing on a star' there is some fanstastic inspiration from my wonderful teamies. They are such a talented bunch, so go check out all the different ways we thought of to inspire you, plus you could be our lucky winner and receive a wonderful prize.
My tag started with some UTEE in pearl to act as a resist and a Tim Holtz layering stencil
I then blended several distress inks over the stars.
I first stamped my feature which is from Prima onto the card but felt it did not show enough
So stamped it again and my sentiment both coloured with the distress ink.
I assembled my sentiment
All together.

Beautiful Debs! The pearl embossed stars worked really well as a resist and it leaves such a subtle shimmer, a great addition to your wonderful background! Love the heated organza, a great bit of distressing! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteGreat tag Debs, I've got this stamp but not inked it, fab inspiration.

Oooh this looks great Debs, loving that background and how you re-stamped the main image xxx
ReplyDeleteTerrific tag - love that image of the head, and the resist stars work brilliantly. Fab bit of organza to top it off too, though I must admit I rather like the overheated version!
