Darcy uses grunge paste but I had run out, so so carried on without. Here is how it took shape. I didn't have the same size journal so used a larger one which I squared off. The two remaining sides I added some lined paper which I will use for journalling.
I brayed on some fresco acyrlics from the new JOFY limited addition set.
Then knocked it back with white gesso and when dry sprayed ink in different colours.
I added more ink and built up the layers. I used the ghosting technique with stencils.
Next I started to make some foam stamps using fun foam. I used these to create some interesting patterns on the pages.
Once I was happy I played about with one of Darcy's new stamps to see what I wanted where. I then stamped the images in black archival ink and set with the heat tool.
I liked the look of leaving it black so filled in some parts. I decided it need something else so thought I would add a simple figure.
And so here is the finished page
It's gorgeous Deborah. I love the bright hot colours in the background and the subtle ghosting from the stencils. Love your figure too.
