The opening challenge is anything goes as long as it contains some thing old and new and something designed by you digitally. What great fun!
Well here is my creation for the opening challenge.
I took a tag and sprayed it with distress ink in Seedles Preserve and Peacock Feathers. I then sprayed some Walnut stain on my craft mat and using my new stencil added some butterflies
in the close up you can see how I've flicked water on the tag to get some drips and blots. I also added some words from another stencil.
Next came my girl, which I created in Draw Plus which I am loving so expect some more from me once I learn to use the programme. In the close up you can the dress is made from a photo brush which has tiny flowers.

I cut my girl out and added some shading using Fable Castel Paint Pens.

ReplyDeleteWhat a great tag, starting from the background using these wonderfully named colours. I would have been quite happy to leave it at that, it looks great. But then you added the girl and quote and the ties at the top and it looks fantastic.
