I don't have any steps today but I'll talk you through them.
I used Dina Wakley Heavy Body Acrylics and scraped on some colour dried the page and then added some more layers using stencils. I drew my girl with a stabilo all and then used the paint to add colour to her.
I added some black spats in Archival Ink and some circles in white
To me she looked like she was dancing :)
I hope you do get a chance to play. Take care and I'll see you.
Big hugs Debsxx

Beautiful Debs, the contrast of the black makes your colours really pop and love the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteYour artwork is so beautiful Debs and I'm not even sure beautiful is the right word. Amazing is so overused but really - I just went through everything you have done since you posted this bright colors challenge one and I am stunned. All your girls are incredible and you just "draw" them.... wow. And your backgrounds... so awesome. I think Mixed Media World has some incredible DT members. I am excited to follow and learn. Wow. I just love this BRIGHT DANCING GAL. j.

ReplyDeleteHi Debs - your art is absolutely incredible. I have just spent some time looking at all your creations and I am blown away by your talent. Absolutely stunning and you make it look so easy and yet I know it takes an artists eyes to create what you create. I am honored to be on the Mixed Media World DT with you and the rest of the amazingly talented DT. And I agree with you - it does look like your lady is dancing.
