Anything Goes For Mixed Media World

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well, and enjoying your Sunday. Today starts the new challenge at MMW and the theme is anything goes. Please follow the guidelines to enter, to be in with a chance of winning £20 voucher from That's Crafty. My altered box came about from a request at work as to whether I could do some thing with it. It is a chocolate box and had various markings on it. I'm sorry there is no before picture I got carried away.

Here is the completed box.

 

 

Using Fresco Acrylic in Vintage Lace, from Paper Artsy I painted the whole box inside and out. I gave it all another coat. For the top I took a tissue and with Modge Podge stuck it to the lid. One it was completely dry, using a sanding block I sanded the tissue away from the edge leaving a nice edge. I then edge the box in Pewter Treasure Gold.

The flower is a tattered Floral die cut from Tim Holtz. Again painted in vintage lace and edged with the Treasure gold.
